Hi, my name is Kaden Hanafi. I am a recent journalism graduate from the University of Florida.
Since starting at UF in 2021, I have worked in as many positions as possible. I wrote local news stories in the Gainesville area, publishing a story for WUFT covering a Florida Board of Governors meeting. Additionally, some of my stories made air for WUFT’s evening news. I also have experience in the control room for SEC games across multiple sports, such as football and basketball.
Most of my experience has come in wrestling media. I work as an on-air correspondent covering professional wrestling shows, writing feature stories and interviewing talents. I have been credentialed at multiple wrestling events over the past few years as a freelancer.
The current channel I work with, Late Night Grin, recently launched a subscription service, with over 250 paid subscribers. Another channel I worked with is Fightful Wrestling, which recently crossed 100k subscribers. While with Fightful, I have co-hosted pay-per-view preview shows on their Patreon platform with over 12k paid subscribers and appeared on shows across their two channels. Behind the scenes, I created YouTube shorts, with the highest-viewed one gaining over 1.5k views.
